And it's my birthday! Yay for that! The party is tonight, 10:30 PM at the Marigold Bowl at Grace and Halsted in Chicago. Stop by if you're in the area. It's karaoke night and I intend to sing my little heart out.

I have plenty of vacation stories to tell, and most of them will probably show up as journal entries because they're long, rambly, and melodramatic. In brief, I miss Ray. A lot. I cried pretty much all day yesterday and acted like a big baby at the airport. I'm feeling much better now, though, and I'm going to be spending the day around lots of people, so I will have little opportunity to sit around moping and feeling sorry for myself.

I'm going to get away from the computer now and start doing real-life stuff. I'll be back tomorrow night.

We made it. The car didn't misbehave at all, thankfully. It sounded a lot like a lawnmower at times, but it arrived in one piece and so did we. Ray and I are getting along well and we have not been arguing. We smell bad. We have been moving and it is hot outside.

We don't know where anything is right now, and it's kind of dark, and there's some nasty areas in Methuen, so we probably won't be doing any exploring until later. Once we wash some towels, I'm going to take a shower and then go to sleep.
